At About Bikes we pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship.  The team have, between them, 70+ years of cycle engineering experience. Our repairs are carried out to Cytec standard.

We have the tools and equipment to maintain and repair all bikes.

No job too big or small-a sticky gear change to a full rebuild.

We haven't been, nor will we be, beaten by the most difficult of jobs.

We carry out custom wheel builds and wheel repairs (new spoke, new rim, new bearings). All of our work is guaranteed and we offer a fast turn-round.

 
We are offering a fixed labour price of £40 on all service work.  Yes, thats all the labour  fee you pay for any service on any make or model of bike.  All parts supplied are fitted free of charge and we quote before we fit the parts so theres no "surprises" when you collect your bike.

So you could have a full service inc hub strip and re-grease, headset re-grease and new brake pads, chain and cassette fitted for a measly £40 labour plus the parts.

Bikes needing smaller repairs, fork/shock service and wheel builds are costed individually

We only carry out repair work during weekdays.
